Working
Together
We have walked similar paths. We share many of the same priorities and goals as our clients, from planning for retirement and saving for our children's education to pursuing meaningful careers and creating a sense of community at home and at work.
With us, you can trust that your financial well-being is always our top priority. We sign a fiduciary oath to prove it. Our unwavering commitment to the highest ethical standards ensures your money is dedicated to serving you.
Who We work With
People Navigating Retirement
I specialize in working with those who are retired—or within about five years of retirement—helping them confidently step into the next chapter of life. Whether you're winding down your career or already enjoying more freedom, my goal is to help you retire to something meaningful, not just from something.
As a working mom myself, I understand how life’s responsibilities can shift over time. I’m here to help you align your finances with the life you want—whether that means more travel, time with family, or simply peace of mind.
Successful Professionals In Transition
Many of my clients are smart, successful people who’ve spent their lives building careers in demanding fields like technology, education, government, and business. They’re now starting to think more seriously about retirement—but untangling benefits packages, retirement accounts, and stock options can be overwhelming.
My job is to help you turn your career’s hard work into lasting security—for yourself and your family.
People Stepping Into Financial Responsibility
Whether by choice or by circumstance, many of my clients find themselves in a new phase of life—managing money on their own, overseeing a family trust, or balancing the needs of a growing family while planning for the future.
They’re thoughtful, responsible, and often just looking for some clarity and guidance. They want to make smart decisions, but they don’t want to go it alone.
If you're feeling the weight of new responsibilities—or simply want a clearer path forward—I’m here to help you make sense of the details and move ahead with confidence.
Savers Who’ve Been Smart with Their Money
You may not consider yourself “wealthy,” but thanks to consistent saving and disciplined choices, you’ve built a solid nest egg—often $500,000 or more. Now it’s time to make sure that money works as hard for you as you worked for it.
Whether you're navigating retirement income planning, tax strategies, or legacy goals, I help thoughtful savers make the most of what they’ve earned..
Real People. Kind People.
I choose to work with kind, thoughtful, open-minded people—because life is too short for anything else. I want long-term relationships built on trust, mutual respect, and a shared desire to make smart decisions and enjoy life along the way.

Our Process
1.
Discovery Call with Sue
The first step is a quick, 20-minute call to get to know each other. I’ll ask a bit about where you are financially and what’s been on your mind lately. It’s also an opportunity for me to share how I work with clients. It’s a relaxed, no-pressure conversation to see if we’re a good fit in terms of basic needs and personality alignment.
Calls take place via Zoom, or other Video Conferencing Platform. A phone call can be requested, as well. (Show a prospect-friendly annual client service calendar during initial discovery call)
2.
Plan Preview
If we’ve decided to move forward together after our Discovery Call, this is I gain more information about the details of your finances. You’ll get a simple checklist ahead of time so we can make the most of our time together.
In this meeting, we’ll walk through your current financial picture, talk through your goals, and share some early insights based on what we see. Regardless of your decision to work with us long term, you’ll come away with a clearer sense of direction — and whether now is the right time create the financial commitments you are hoping for to meet your goals.
We may decide now isn’t the right time, based on your current needs. Or perhaps we have a resource for you that will be a better fit. Either way, we hope that this call gives you a sense of what you need to do next.
If all is in alignment, and everyone wants to move forward, keep reading…this is where the deep work happens.
3.
On-boarding
Once we’ve both aligned about your goals and feel confident in our progress together, I’ll send over everything you need to begin — including the client agreement, account forms, and clear instructions for next steps. I’ll guide you through the process personally and make sure everything is set up smoothly, from transferring accounts to getting access to your client portal. If you are committed to the process, clients are normally on-boarded within 2 weeks.
4.
Your Planning Series
Using the CFP® Board’s 7-step financial planning process, we’ll consider the key areas of your financial life — your goals, cash flows year-by-year, investments, taxes, and estate planning — always through the lens of what matters most to you.
Each step is tailored to your unique situation, and we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable. We’ll review a lot of info, but rest assured, decisions don’t have to happen at once. This process lays the groundwork for thoughtful decisions — both now and in the future — and gives you a clearer sense of direction.
